The next Las Vegas Lit event will feature two Las Vegas writers. Pat Halverson will read from her second guidebook, a companion to Travels and Trails, A Historical Tour Guide to West Las Vegas and Montezuma, New Mexico. The new book, Travels and Trails, A Historical Tour Guide to East Las Vegas and Storrie Lake, New Mexico, explores the development and growth of East Las Vegas.

Sharon Vander Meer will give a brief talk about writing poetry and read from her two chapbooks of poetry, 25 Days of Christmas, an Advent Journey, and Lines, Poetry in Notion.

Books from the authors will be available for sale.

The event will take place Sunday, Nov. 24, 4 p.m., at KickStart Kafe, 148 Bridge Street.
