STOP THE FEASTING
By Leota Brigida Harriman
inadequacy gnaws like cancer
eats your insides with its grinding teeth
leaves rough bleeding spaces
where despair and fear like to settle
leaving pain
and self-doubt
after chewing love's connective tissue out
repeat repeat
I am enough
I do enough, I'm good enough
grow back within me
miracle healing lay your hands on me
spirit
let me be worthy
stop the feasting on me
