A Howling Success

On Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Las Vegas Arts Council Gallery, 140 Bridge Street, Las Vegas Lit, a project of the Arts Council, featured several writers who read Halloween-themed short stories and poetry.

Among the Open Mic readers were several students from the writing club at West Las Vegas High School.

In addition, Dorothy Maestas representing the Literacy Council, accepted a donation of $500 in support of the organization’s mission to put books in the hands of readers of every age.
