Patti Writes: Memory Lane

Here I am—back on Memory Lane. A search of old file cabinets revealed the name of the owner of Bridge Street Books & Coffeehouse—Peter Dumont—and one of his poems, which I shall shamefacedly share. My memory tells me that Pete was the founder and everlasting member of the Saturday morning poetry gatherings. In 1992, he wrote “Omnigod Men Are Turned On By Anything” and gave me a dot matrix copy.
